"When my partner and I decided to buy a home, I started looking on the internet for programs to help with first time home buyers.  I found a program for police officers and decided it was the best option.  We were connected with Dawn Thompson (Selix).  I was working an off duty job at the local credit union when she came in.  She heard me talking to one of the employees about the buying a home.   Dawn came over and introduced herself.  By the end of our conversation, she was excited about getting involved and I was excited about working with a local agent that was willing to go above and beyond to help us.  Dawn said she was honored to be able to give back to local police officers and help them save money throughout the home buying process.  She then found local contractors, inspectors, and surveyors willing to get involved and offer discounts for their fees as part of the assistance.  

Dawn worked around our schedules and patiently helped us through the process.  We found her to be very knowledgeable and fiercely honest.  She taught us a great deal about selecting a house and ultimately helped us find the perfect home.  When minor obstacles popped up during the process, Dawn worked out the solutions and simply kept us informed.  Thanks to Dawn, we were able to purchase a nicer home than we expected.  We were also able to make the purchase sooner than expected because of the financial assistance.  Words cannot explain how much we appreciate what she has done for us!  We have recommended Dawn Selix to all of our friends and co-workers.  She is a wonderful agent and a good person.  We will definetely work with her in all our future transactions!
